CCAC Basketball Tournament Pairings Finalized
Both Stritch teams to host home games

The 2009-10 CCAC Tournament kicks off this week
Milwaukee, Wis. – With the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) men’s and women’s basketball tournament on the horizon, the Cardinal Stritch University Wolves basketball teams will kick the semifinals off by hosting games on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
With both teams having won the regular season championships, both have earned a first round bye.
The Stritch women’s basketball team, which finished the season 26-2 overall and 9-0 in the CCAC, will host their first playoff game against the winner of the quarterfinals matchup between Trinity International University and Judson University to be played on Tuesday. Ranked No. 16 in the nation, the Wolves will play their game at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The Stritch men, who closed out the 2009-10 season with a 26-4 overall record, will host the winner of the opening round game between the Calumet College of St. Joseph Crimson Wave and the Purdue University – Calumet Peregrines. Ranked No. 9 in the country and having finished the conference season with a 12-0 record, the Stritch men’s basketball team will take on the winner at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Both of the Stritch games will be hosted on the campus of Cardinal Stritch University and can also be found on www.stritchwolves.com. By rule, no pass lists or season passes will be honored at playoff games with normal ticket fees applying. All Stritch students, faculty, and staff will still be allowed in for free upon the presentation of their Stritch I.D.
