Jocelyn Ritger was named Student-Athlete of the Month
Milwaukee, Wis. - Women's cross country runner Jocelyn Ritger (Wesst Bend, Wis.) becomes one of two athletes at Stritch to be named Athlete of the Month for the first time ever in school history.

Ritger, a junior at Stritch, has been pacing the way all season long for the Wolves women's cross country team. The team's leading top finisher in all seven of the team's meets, Ritger placed as high as fifth overall in the Falcon Invite on Sept. 19 and sixth in the Wisconsin Private College Championship (WPCC) on Oct. 17.

The Wolves' leading runner closed out the season on a high note as she recorded a season-best time of 24:27 in the 6K during the WPCC. She also would finish in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) meet in 12th place with a finishing time of 20:33, barely missing a chance to qualify for nationals.
